The Severn Sailing Team will be hosting a Bring a Friend to Sailing Day during the week of 10/26. It will be held on Thursday or
Friday at the normal practice time of 3-6 pm. Although each sailor is only allowed to bring one person, everyone is welcome from Severn students to faculty. There will be 18 boats to use, plus Mr. Sitzmann’s coaching boats and a large sailboat as well. The practice will take place at the Magothy Marina in Severna Park. Every guest must bring a life jacket and no prior experience is needed. In speaking with Team Captain Zander King about the exciting event, he said, “It should be a lot of fun seeing lots of new faces and for them to see what we do at practice and on the water!”
